The Minnesota Recreational Soccer League was formed, well, we really don't know when it was formed. We believe it was longer than 3 years ago because some of us remember playing 4 years ago.
More on that to come later...
The MRSL is an adult recreational non-profit soccer league based out of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The league consists of multiple Divisions, (based on skill level) and Groups within each of the Divisions. We usually have around 100 teams and about 2500 active players in the league. Currently, games are scheduled for either Sunday or Monday nights. Games are played around the Twin Cities; from Blaine in the North, Lakeville in the South to Minnetonka in the West and Woodbury in East.
Division 1 is our highest most competitive division. Division 2 is moderately competitive. Division 3 is the recreational competitive division.
We are associated with the Minnesota Soccer Association and the United States Adult Soccer Association.
